Summer Solstice Today
The word solstice was came from Latin sol or sun and sistere or to stand still. Summer Solstice occurs only once a year, this year 2010, it would be experience today in Northern Hemisphere such as Asia. Summer solstice occur when the axial tilt of our planet is most inclined toward the sun.
As we can notice, the day on the Summer Solstice has its longest period of daylight, where we can experience the hottest temperature of the year. The summer solstice occurs in June in the Northern and usually December in the Southern Hemisphere.
You need to prepare lot of water for the day, and prepare yourself for hot temperature of the year.
