The Future of Smartphones

Posted on August 11, 2010

AndroidWhether you own a Nokia C3, HTC Hero, or a Samsung Omnia, which are examples of the latest smartphones today, there's a slow merge starting to occur. Their OS or Operating Systems. Most of the major smart phone manufacturer's prefer to use Adroid as their newest phone's OS. Why so? Why not Symbian or iOS(iPod-iPad OS)? For the past few years, they dominated the mobile phone OS market.

But then came Android. The little green guy as some call it. It was more aesthetically better, performed faster, easier navigation and others more. The most important thing about Android is it's compatibility with most phone manufacturers. Most of the phone giants like Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, HTC and Motorola. Android's flexibility even extends to PC tablets!

Now, I'm not trying to tell you to worship the Android OS. My point here is that in the near future, we might be using very flexible smart phones. Just like the PC or Laptops and Netbooks, you can change the OS.  Imagine a future where you could buy a smartphone and if you don't like the OS, just swap it!

But I don't think this would be happening real soon, this might take time, in my estimation about 7 to 10 years for manufacturer's to agree on this new innovative idea since they would still need to give up on their own OSes or convince their loyal consumers that it is time to change. What do you think? Feel free to share your views!

Other Regrets Of A Matured Man

Posted on August 10, 2010

Young man should be wise. Unwise old man should be readjust before his death would come. A techy man has its limit, it is not forever that he could be playing games. This information are based from others experience and personal views.

First Regret: Playing Online Games and leveling up characters 20 hours a day, for almost many years that almost forgot better important things to do.

Second Regret: Courting and a time for his ex that waste a lot of money and time, for 5 times and 5 years of nonsense centered time and life. The experience should not be regretted because the experience helps us to lead to find the right one. Right?

Third Regret: Not having a high grade in school that probably the requirement for employment. Being easy go lucky student in school will make your future in bad side. Satisfaction Today will Sacrifice your life tomorrow, while Sacrifice today will have satisfaction tomorrow.

Fourth Regret: Wasting a lot of money because of high technology gadgets that can easily depreciated. Depreciation of Assets can always take place in time, especially for high tech gadgets that can be easily phase out the market.

Fifth Regret: Collecting collectible items that could possibly add trash to your room. Since you are a kid before and you don't care collecting trash that you cannot use in future, all those collectibles might not usable.

Sixth Regret: Doing weird embarrassment because of love and the aim for sex. Others might be in love because of physical appearance, that they are rushing to get married. A immature man think that having sex is a way of satisfaction the love, that is why he do weird things to get notice by a lady.

Seventh Regret: You didn't fight for your love. You might be too weak before, and you are not frank to express how you feel. Now you are married, it is too late.

Eight Regret: Virginity Breaking, If you are married one, and you value the love to your wife, you should maintain the full respect by maintaining your virginity, and if you lost it, your family happiness might be affected.

Ninth Regret: Searching the True Religion and Serving God as early as Childhood. When you grow older, spirituality is needed in your life, especially when you have a children that might have bad morals, you will say that you should have been advised before about religion and moral.

Tenth Regret: Others not mentioned which is on your mind. Reading this before it might be happen, remember that prevention is better than cure, and it is important to heed reminders from experienced one.

These are just other regrets of a matured man, if you are still doing some of the above things then you are still young and not yet matured, but this is case to case basis.

Why Too Many Commit Suicide Because of Lost Love?

Posted on August 8, 2010

Why Too Many Commit Suicide Because of Lost Love? I've been asking myself so many times about this. Upon researching and reading articles about this topic, i came out with an answer. Actually some are known to me in person, some are friends and too sad to know that they do it, and even this time someone right now is planning to do it! Maybe all I can do to help him is to flood his Facebook wall with attractive message. People don't really understand how they feel, but understanding them may guide you to help those who are in need.

First. It is because of immaturity. Based on my observation and watching the experience of other person. There are too many man commit suicide than woman. Ladies are more matured than man, and they are not afraid to express loneliness.

Second reason, because of being centered or focus only in one person. A man would think that the lady is the only answer for his happiness, he exclude his friends, relatives and worst to know his family. A close minded person think that nobody would care for him and his life is worthless if he lost his heart. That person doesn't really care on anybody except for the one he love.

Third reason, because of not confronting to others. A man may not tell his problem because of shyness. But the most important thing to do is to tell the problem for those who are only involve. Despite it might be hard to communicate with his ex or former love. A communication with friends and making busy things would help to avoid suicide.

Fourth reason, because of complication of the problem. It is like a diagnosed health problem that may lead to a complication once it is not treated well. A small problem may lead to bigger one once it is left untreated that may lead to an unorganized situation. A person may hard to start because of too many problem may already arise and plan to end it all by quitting life.

Last reason is (and the most root of all reason is) he doesn't fear God and has a weak spirituality. We are ordered to love yourself, not to kill. Suicide is an act of killing, and it is one of a big sin in God's eye. An spiritually minded person find true happiness in sharing the good news and helping others (that most people don't understand why I say it that you can find true happiness in teaching).

The Needs of Human – Maslow Hierarchy of Needs

Posted on August 8, 2010

According to Maslow, we have 5 levels in the hierarchy of needs in psychology. It was proposed by Abraham Maslow in his publication "A theory of Human Motivation." Psychology majors and Business Management know this theory.

1. Physiological Needs
This are the basic needs of every human such as food, water, oxygen and other basic things in order for a human to live.

2. Safety Needs
When physiological needs are set, safety needs will now follow. It includes the family, uninterrupted resources. This also include security in employment, housing and other material things in order for human to be safe.

3. Needs of Love, Affection and Belongingness
When the needs for safety and for physiological well-being are satisfied, the next class of needs for love. This includes the love for special someone.

4. Needs for Esteem
When the first three classes of needs are satisfied, the needs for steem can become dominant which includes high level of self-respect, and espect from others. This needs includes high respect for you by other person.

5. Needs for Self-Actualization
When all foregoing needs are satisfied, this is what a person is born to do at all. This includes every matured person that makes their life complete. For me, the needs of self actualization is when you are accepted by God and you are doing his will. That is the best thing that a human must born to do.

Facebook finally extends privacy to it’s mobile site

Posted on August 5, 2010

Very good news for mobile FFacebook mobileacebook users out there! We can now have access to Facebook's social network settings.

Facebook's mobiles subscribers with smartphones and/or tablets will finally be able to customize settings on who can see their profile info.

Facebook mobile product manager, Michael Sharon said:

"You are in control of how you connect and share on Facebook."

It's almost the same to how you can make change to the desktop version.

It's a good thing that these changes were made. Escpecially now that mobile devices are starting to become more sophisticated. As far as I know, Facebook is the only social networking site who provides the same privacy settings for their mobile subscribers.

These changes are possible for browser-enabled phones as well as tablets.

I'm especially concerned because I also frequently use my phone to browse my Facebook account. Also, there are more and more people who getting more knowledgeable of phone application hacks that can access information through our phones.

Although Facebook has already rolled out these changes. Not all of the present settings from the desktop version are available. Some might not be found yet since the changes are being rolled out gradually.

This certainly is a big leap for the mobile community. Security and safety are the most important when it comes to social networking, and these changes will keep the users confident that they're information is only being shared to those who they want to share it with.

What is the reality on Google PageRank update? Webmasters around the world including me is waiting for the next PR update. As it shows by Google for several years, PR update take places four times a year, and it is usually done every 3 months. Webmaster treat is as the most important metric system on the importance and value of website.

Before the start of the year, I made an assumptions that PR update would take place into the following date range:

First PageRank (PR) Update: March to April
Second PageRank (PR) Update: June to July
Third PageRank (PR) Update: September to October
Last PageRank (PR) Update: December to January on the next year

Duration Of Healing A Heart Broken

Posted on August 4, 2010

Mending a broken heart is not that easy, but it can truly be done. There are good ways and bad ways (like suicide) in how to heal a broken heart. Your heart needs a management, and there is no other manager of your own body except your own heart itself. If a manager is just staring at the problems of organization or business, nothing would happen and he will experience the problem more which will be getting worst because of complications. It is also the same with a problem in your heart, if you don't move and just stay where you stop, even the time of your death you are still broken! This means the duration can be as simple as early or it can be worst as lifetime.

The 4 Level of Relationship

1. First Level - There is still no plan for marriage. The relationship last for less than months. Each both sides have experiences in breaking up and real love relationship. The effort and duration doesn't take too much time, but it can last forever if you cannot manage it easily. This level sometimes happen to young individuals who doesn't take marriage seriously.

2. Second Level - There is still no plan for marriage but already talk about fundamentals of future, and the relationship last for almost a year and each sides knows each other very well. They have past experiences in love but past is past. The effort and duration is more harder compare with the previous one. There is a possibility of suicide once alcohol is added while problem is still fresh. The broken heart also feels alone for a short period of time.

3. Third Level - There is a plan for marriage, and relationship is more than a year, both sides might have past experiences in love and some might be first time. The duration and effort is hard at this time, because the broken hearted person think that the only solution is going back to the past. Some young individuals commit suicide while in this level, thinking that the only solution to the problem.

4. Fourth Level - There is a date for marriage, relationship is almost at its last part for being a single status. Both sides doesn't care about the past relationships if any. Ready for marriage. This is the most hardest level, where the duration and effort should be taken seriously. The first day after breaking up is like a feeling of death, where loneliness and being alone in the world is the only thing in mind. Duration is longer compared to the last 3 levels.

Red Mobile is offering Unlimited Call and Text to Smart and Talk and Text Subscriber without prefix. Just dial the cellular number of any Smart / TNT and Red Subscriber, and you will be automatically connected without prefixes.

Upon experience in buying New Red Mobile Unlimited Call and Text Sim Card, the connection is easier without writing down the number first and dialing to your cellular phone or by editing the number. The call is disconnected after 5 minutes in Red Mobile to Smart or TNT upon testing.

The competition is getting bigger. Sun Cellular is the first to offer Unlimited Call and Text, followed by Smart Telecommunications previously last 2006 with too much effort to call (where you need to text the number to an specified number in order to make a call). Globe Telecom also offer unlimited for Beta testing that year. Globe telecom is the 2nd largest number of prepaid subscriber, but it is the leader in Post Paid subscription.

The Key To The Internet

Posted on August 1, 2010

There had been rumors roaming around the net that there is a 'kill switch' that could power down the web if needed be, especially during an all out cyber attack. But this turns out to be blown out of proportion. But on that note, there are now what I would call the 'seven net guardians' who hold the responsibility to reboot the web in the aftermath of a cataclysmic cyber attack.

This program is overseen by the ones responsible for the Domain Name System Security, a security protocol that ensures Web sites are registered and “signed” (this is the security measure built into the Web that ensures when you go to a URL you arrive at a real site and not an identical pirate site). This non-military,

Reading the History Of Mandkind’s Search

Posted on July 29, 2010

Wherever you maybe, you may see different people exercising their own religion. As I read the book I have in my hand right now and browsing "Wikipedia"  The human history search for God in many pathways, resulting in a diversity of religious expression. I was so fascinated learning different kinds of Religion to know their belief.

It answer the question on the history and origin of religions. How did mythology, magic and spiritism affects many religion today. I also read the doctrines of Hinduism, Buddhism,  Taoism, Confucianism,  Shintoism, Judaism, Islam, Several Apostasy, Athiest and Christianity. Knowing what others belief helps you to understand what other person are doing and what they belief. I was so fascinated especially when I study the different trees of Christianity and the evolution of every Christian denomination since I am living in a Christian country.

In the Philippines where I live, Filipinos are focusing in only one mother religion and changing religion from same mother religion, the Christianity. Muslim and some Chinese also practice their belief in the Philippines, but I didn't see other major religions above. That is why people don't know information about other religion such as the list of religion stated above.

The Trinity Doctrine

Posted on July 25, 2010

First lets define what is Trinity. According to Catholic Encyclopedia (Trinity), in the words of the Athanasian Creed: "the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, and yet there are not three Gods but one God." "the Persons are co-eternal and co-equal: all alike are uncreated and omnipotent."

Majority of Christian denominations such as the movements of Catholics, Protestant and Eastern believe in Trinity. It is also the most fundamental teaching of most Christian Religion. The trinity doctrine teaches that each is said to be without beginning, having existed for eternity. What is truth about Trinity? Will you accept the real truth about readjustment needed? Before you answer this question, I would like to invite you to read the whole article.

Don’t Judge!

Posted on July 23, 2010

There is a very common English idiom "Don't Judge The Book By Its Cover" It is probably the most common expression used in English to convey vanity. But what if you are showing a good example but someone might saying that "It is natural for human to do that, and I know you are doing it too" How you will react on it? Then they are already judging you without knowing who you are.

Maintaining a good name can be your goal. Ask yourself, So how will you be remembered? If you had died yesterday, what would people be saying about you today? This is a question that might motivate all of us to improve on how we act. But despite of your good acts, Some might judge you to offend you, some are guessing that you are doing something wrong in order for it to be reveled. Whatever you may experience, you need to keep calm and don't return evil for evil.

What Should You Do When You Hurt Someone?

Posted on July 19, 2010

It is natural to have a conflict and misunderstandings. Your close friend may hurt you because of words he don't really mean it. In return you might hurt him too because of your temper. Whoever may came first it is important to fix the problem, or try making peace with him.

I know it is a little bit hard to fix a problem especially when one is not willing to accept error. The best thing to do “If your brother commits a sin, go lay bare his fault between you and him alone.” (Matthew 18:15) This means that don't tell other people yet, you must talk to him alone without other person involve. It is also written that “If, then, you are bringing your gift to the altar and you there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar, and go away; first make your peace with your brother.” (Matthew 5:23, 24) Whoever offended you or you offend others, it is vital to settle down promptly without others involve.

If you cannot fix the problem alone, then look for someone who can stand neutral in your conflict, and a person who wouldn't take side to anyone. I know it maybe hard to start, but living in peace give you peaceful and relax mind.

Dear Schoolmates – AMA Dagupan Campus

Posted on July 18, 2010

Dearest schoolmates,

You maybe wondering why I am writing a post for you. This is for my classmates and my schoolmates (students of AMA). Its been many years when I step AMA as my alma mater, and now I am leaving the school as a employee. I know some might be upset with me because of my decision.

To all CSDP, I hope you would continue to study hard, and always be good. It is known in the institution that "we" are the most noisy. It is hard for me to leave CODES as my school group and my advisory. I know we gone to far to make this group stay on top specially during the Student Night, Sports fest and Acquaintance Party.

To all IT students (includes BSBA, Engineering and other BS), for current 4th year students, you are the coolest student I have, who can make the class not boring. You are matured individuals ready to enter the marketplace. Some of you are not just my student, but also my friend because of our friendly family connections. I know everything will last forever. For the IT 3rd year, I thank you very much for always obeying rules and regulation, I cannot forget your cooperation and concern to our group last field trip. Lastly to all BSIT, even I don't handle you too much in major subjects, I hope you learn something from me.

When I enter AMA Dagupan Campus, Mr. Vicente became one of my mentor. I couldn't forget his teachings for my career. Also to my batch of faculty members, you are the best co-faculties I ever had. Look at me, you leave me alone, and I am the last one to get out. Thank you very much for all the memories. Even you are in the distant part of the earth, you still communicate with me.

To my co-employees, thank you very much for those being true to me, those who value me as part of the family. I am thankful because you are supportive to me.

To my alma mater, thank you very much for your teaching. I also value the time I stay not just a student but also as an employee. This might be the end of my journey in the institution, but I couldn't forget the memories.

The decision of leaving AMA is almost urgent. Last July 1, I made my 25 percent decision of leaving, it means I couldn't leave AMA and this decision took me a lot of efforts. But when time comes, something triggered me to leave the institution. Let me just tell you some of my reason for leaving AMA. I have 5 reasons why I leave the institution.

Facebook Log-in With Unique Username

Posted on July 7, 2010

Majority of users use their email address as a Facebook log-in. Since the form asking for an email, some may not aware that you can have your own unique Facebook username where you can use it as a login without typing the long email address. For example you want your username to be: mundsky, you can change it by going to (1) Account -> Account Settings. Under the option, (2) you can set the username to suggested username or you can choose your own, depends on availability of the chosen username. If you have chosen an available username then that would be also your Facebook link add-on. Anyone could visit your profile by just typing facebook.com/yourusername (or facebook.com/mundsky on the given example)

Now you can either log in your username or your email address. This would help you to easily link your profile to your website and blogrolls. This also help your friends to easily remember your profile. So give it a try and choose your own Facebook username now. Your log-in information with facebook  will never be the same again.

LG GX200 – Longest Battery Life at Amazing 60 to 70 Days Of Standby!

Posted on July 7, 2010

One of the largest cellphone brand released its another Dual Sim standby phone. It was pre-released last February 2010, and available at March 2010. Remembering the post of DAYcody.com about watchphone and the article about Dual Sim, it is expected that this Dual Sim Standby phone will release this early 2010. LG GX200 provides another innovation with 1000 to 1500 hours of standby, unlike other phone review, standby hours is unrealistic and for marketing purpose only. But this is really under fair usage by DAYcody.com that LG Gx200 standby time can reach more than 60 to 70 days without charging with 13.5 hours of Talk Time! Wow.

LG GX200 is not just a basic phone, it is also for entertainment with MicroSD slot up to 4gig, with 80MB internal memory. Accessories includes charger that can be detach for USB-PC connection, it also includes headset for stereo sound listening.

When I compare Samsung 5212 with this model, they have a great similarities. LG has also a button in switching Sim Card. If you would ask me what is recommended, i recommend either phones. LG is the first mobile phone to offer the longest battery available.

She try to sabotage a group of individuals and talk a lot of against when the person is at her back. Now, everybody hates her, and whoever choose to be with her will not be build up anymore for those who knows her. Now, she is looking for job, i heard that most males admire her and suggested to the HR to hire her. I was so much disappointed on the time that I was thinking of her. It is already an old story of mine, but it is a very big lesson that everybody should learn. When I was still young, I know that "As a gold nose ring in the snout of a pig, so is a woman that is pretty but that is turning away from sensibleness." - Proverbs 11:22. (“Kung papaano ang singsing na ginto sa nguso ng baboy, gayon ang magandang babae na walang bait.”) But i never realize that this text is very helpful unless I experience. Despite of worldly reminders from my old teachers that "beauty is useless", I still didn't give an importance to this because seeing a beautiful lady is enjoyable at first and makes your heart happy for a moment, it is the same with an infatuation that it reach the fever pitch in short time then it will fades.

Anyway, we don't need to experience everything in order for us to learn. We can learn from other's experience and mistakes. So be careful, and be watchful to avoid the trap either man or woman.

Should You Put Your Trust To Political Leaders

Posted on July 7, 2010

The Republic of the Philippines elected a new president. The nation has 3.1 million unemployed, 10,000 families no home, and lacking of 400,000 classroom for public schools. It is a very serious number. The new elected president promised a new beginning to the nation and promised to give a new hope.

Late this afternoon, I walk at downtown and nearby areas and see a lot of people and families suffering from food shortage. Late at night, together with mundsky and dilsonblog visited a public hospital and see how many sufferers and sick people.

I know the answer that Political leaders cannot stop the blowing of unemployed, cannot provide home for 10,000 families and cannot heal sick people. While I am watching the TV, the program focus about the inauguration of the new President, I was thinking about blogging something that many people don't know which is we should not trust the political leaders, because there is no solution for our problems. Even now, Majority of religious leaders promote, support (and others run for position in) politics as a possible solution to our problems but time will come politics and those who support it will have a predicted future.
