Upon researching Jehovah in language in Awabakal is Yehóa, Cantonese is Yehwowah, Futuna is Ihova, Italian is Geova, Japanese is Ehoba, Maori is Ihowa, Romanian is Iehova, Swahili is Yehova.

By not using God's name, people are not making a value to the God they are referring and translators are making a serious mistake. Jesus Christ itself obey Jehovah, if we follow Jesus Christ closely or we consider yourself as Christian, we must also respect the name of Jehovah or Yahweh always. It doesn't matter what language you speak, the most important is we know the name and we must treat it as Holy. As the example prayer of Jesus (Yeshua) said "Holy be your name". Do you love forwarding text messages? If so, you might don't know that the messages that seems to be good might have destructive meaning. My friend forwarded a SMS this night so I also forwarded to my most contacts and the message is as follows: "Better hurt a person in telling the truth than letting them discover from others that you lied. Because the moment you tell a lie, you have lost a very special thing that can never be fixed once crumpled... trust."

I am just overreacting anyway, It is true that "it is better to hurt a person in telling the truth than letting them discover from others that you lied" on the next line, i disagree with trust "that can never be fixed once crumpled" .

After forwarding the text message, I forwarded a message again telling that "I disagree with previously forwarded SMS. Trust can be return despite it is lost, at Ephesians 4:32 said that you must freely forgive, even they repeat at 77 times of mistakes (Matthew 18:21-22). Next time don't forward SMS from worldly Philosophy seems to be  right, but it teach people not to forgive.  Sorry forwarded lang po"

It is not hard to understand why older people advised to choose music carefully. Music has its unnoticed hidden effects to listener. The listener need to accept the lyrics in order to be appreciated and it affects the thinking of one listener. The lyrics allow the listener to think what should he do.

The genre, the beat and sound. This is the ear catching of the music, there are classification of genre where they are classify as soft and hard. Choosing a genre or a type of music reveals what you really like. Some listener prefer listening to music even don't really understand the lyrics because of its genre, beat and the sound. This gives influence to the listener in terms of actions. The genre allows the listener to move.

The singer, is the one who is singing the song. This gives the biggest influence to the listener, because the listener imitate closely the singer on whoever he is. The listener portray himself as like the singer, that is why if the singer is Emo, then the listener is also Emo (even he deny it). When the listener saw the singer crying in the music video, the listener also overreact to cry when they experience the same situation as being watched in the music video. Example with the song "Untitled" by simple plan, music is emotionally driven and the song is "good", but still knowing Simple Plan as a singer makes the listener feels like he is a member of simple plan or just simply imitating them when the listener sing the song.

Amazing Social Worker – Interview With A Friend

This is an informal interview with Efave (name is changed and picture is not shown) a new friend of mine. Efave is a graduate of BS Social Work at SLU in Baguio City and currently taking up her Masters degree in Vigan City. She graduated with flying colors as Cum Laude at SLU, a Class B Institution of the Philippines.

Actually I am not really interested in Social Work course, but I am interested in helping and giving. As long as my own goal is to help people in long term, it is like my goal is just a very small stone compared to her records. While having a story with her, I was amazed with her for being serious on her work, not just on her current work right now but also as a Social Worker. She said that being a social work needs "heart" and "genuine care", you are 24/7 on call, and if possible you must put others first than yourself, and you must know how to handle hard things.

Nokia Released C1 and C2 – Dual Standby Phone

For the record of history, Nokia announced last June the released of Nokia C2 Soon. Now, the number one manufacturer of mobile phone, released its Nokia C1 and Nokia C2 Dual Standby Phone.

Nokia announced the released of Cseries brand, where nokia plan to name it as Dual Sim Phones. Lets review the first Dual Sim Phone. It is Nokia C2, it cost around $60 only.  The other sim card can be hot-swappable (another innovation). The phone both SIM slot supports the 900/1800 GSM bands. Good thing with this new phone is the battery standby time is around 16.5 days, it has also a microSD slot up to 32Gig, and a 3.5mm audio jack for its Mp3 player. Flashlight is built-in.

The other dual-SIM phone is Nokia C1-00 (for only 40 dollars). But I dont recommend this phone because it doesn't have two active cards, you need to switch first into the another to make the other one active. But the phone standby time is 48 days and it has also 3.5mm audio jack. Flashlight is built-in. There are little confusion between Nokia C1-01, Nokia-C1-02 and Nokia-C1-00. The first 2 phones with 01 and 02 doesn't have a dual SIM card slot, but only single slot.

You may try this cheap dual SIM rather than buying China Phones, this website discourage you to buy Local Cellular Phones or known as China Phones.

A Poem From The Past

Since DayCody was posting his inner thoughts and feelings, and all I'm posting were news, tips and tweaks, I though that It was time that I give a twist to my blog posts. So, here I was bored with reviewing and something suddenly struck me, why not post a poem? I wrote this poem several years ago, and would just like to share it to you guys.

Just a simple twist to what I usually post. So here goes.

“Pambihira” – This Blog of Vlads is “Amazing”

It is almost the word of the day, especially when we visited NeoVersed house. This blogpost is to someone we miss here in the Philippines, the owner of Arkivlads, I am just amazed with the word he left behind here in the Philippines and how many adopt this word specially when the person is amazed, even MundSky is starting to say the word. I hope some other time we could visit his place together with my cousin Fide and tell him its "pambihira".

As an effort I plug his picture this Sunday afternoon and show my family and some visitor who know him his pictures in Facebook. And everybody could say its "pambihira".

Being A Christian – What Doest It Mean To You?

According to Wikipedia, Christian is define as "Christ-like" or "Christ Follower". I heard some students talking about their religion, the other one answered that "I am a Christian", the other one also answered with the same answer but they belong to different religious affiliation. Those claims are not new, some religion claim that "If you are not... then you are not Christian, and you cannot see the salvation", some may also answer that "If you belong in this Church, you are Christian". I also have a friend believes that he is a Christian because he belong to a religion claim to be the true one. For you, how to be a Christian? If you claim yourself as a Christian, remember that you are not alone. You belong to almost 37,000 religions! and still counting, claims to be a Christian. So if you don't have religion and you see 37,000 people calling you that they are..., which do you think is telling the truth?

Being a Christian need several requirements. This means that even you belong to the right Christian religion, it is not a way you can call yourself a "Christian" if you are doing bad things that are contradict to bible, and it may be a ground for you to be dis-fellowship and obviously not be accepted by God. Remember that Jesus said to his followers that "“You are my friends if you do what I am commanding you.” (John 15:14) And even myself, I don't like a friend who is traitor and I don't consider... even called me as a "friend". So to be a friend of Jesus, Christian must avoid “fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, idolatry, practice of spiritism, enmities, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, contentions, . . . drunken bouts, revelries, and things like these.” (Galatians 5:19-21; Ephesians 4:17-24) Also Christian must have a high moral standards, they don't do sex before marriage, they avoid different worldly vices, honest, peace-making with everyone and being true to everyone. Another sign of being a Christian is a preacher, that they are commanded to “Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations.” (Matthew 28:19, 20). Lastly, Christian take deep respect to bible and accept its teachings and obey God's word rather than the wisdom of man that includes half-biblical teachings (where some are written and some are based in human wisdom).

Friday The 13th and Superstitious Belief

Friday the 13th is known as unlucky day, where it is happening in the 2nd week of the month or 13th day. Many believes that Friday the 13th is something to do with their life. Many people they will have a bad day because of the superstitions belief. Many belief that superstitions can control their life and it add more spices to what they are doing. Many superstitions are originated from the fear of the dead belief and the bad spirit or any sort, some are also related to medical and healing. To name some, on the last part of this article you may see the common superstitions belief. I have a friend in calasiao who told me a story about "sanib" in or an evil spirit joined a human body, where they call almost all healers but nobody can treated except the Pastor or a religious leader in the church. What could be an explanation of this one? What about you, do you have a secret that do you belief or half-belief on it?

I Am Not Emo

First, I am not Emo, is that clear?. I started to feel this loneliness in my heart. You may laugh at me but this is very natural for all of us. Started last (week of July)... til the next few days, I started to be all alone. Liquor and Internet is my friend, that habit is bad that is why I readjust as soon as possible I can. I manage my problem all alone by reading my old post at this website and writing my own articles, its like my old self is teaching me what to do. Those times, I manage not to tell anyone or anybody about it, and I just keep my self busy doing a lot of task to avoid thinking of the problem. Everybody think it is still normal because I manage to keep my confidence good as a professional person. I don't intend to affect my own work and professionalism.

I will not tell you my story about it because definitely it is too confidential and private. Anyway here is another tip of what is all about "If you plan to enter a long distance relationship, or if your wife will go abroad, tell your wife to put a total trust to you before leaving the country, this will give you a confident to stay in good side."

Maximize Your Laptop’s Battery Life

Most laptop and netbook users are misinformed about how to maximize their laptop's battery life. Majority of users don't really notice that their battery life is getting lower while they are using. Due to improper usage of battery charging, the laptop's battery may lead into shorter period of usage time.

Here are some helpful tips to maximize the life of your battery:

1. Never overcharge your laptop battery, always unplug when the meter goes 100 percent or fully charge. Always unplug the charger and return it again once battery is low. Remember that the connectors are still connected with the battery even it is not charging.
2. Never charge your laptop when it is still more than 30 percent of battery. Avoid plugging and unplugging your charger.
3. Remove your battery if you plan to switch your laptop for longer hours, or if you are lazy doing the 1st tip above.
4. If possible, avoid charging your battery if the laptop's Operating System or Hardware indications is not yet "low battery".
5. Always have a discipline in maintaining your battery life, it is not necessary to remove your battery as often, the most important is you need to maintain the life cycle of your notebook or net book's battery.

If you follow the steps above, your battery life could give you more longer life and it will save you the cost of replacement.

Pangasinan School of Arts and Trades (PSAT) – Batch 2001

Pangasinan School of Arts and Trades is located in Lingayen, Pangasinan. Batch 2001 is my batch in high school, and most of my batch mates are already scattered around the world.

It is very good to know that everyone is still keeping in touch. During this morning when I sign in my facebook account, this photo was tagged into me with 4000+ comments! Yes 4000 comments including the funny conversation.

Congratulations PSU College Band Members

The Pangasinan State University conducted the audition for the College Band last Friday (August 6, 2010). It is only open to the bona fide student of the Main Campus.

The goal of the band is to develop the skills of qualified band members. There are 80 (56+24) students who joined the audition in both singing and instruments playing. The audition started at 9 o'clock in the morning and almost done at 6 o'clock in the evening.

Congratulations to all and thank you very much for those who give efforts during the audition. Here are the list of selected student and now member of PSU College Band.
