AMA Naga Campus is one of the more than 40 Campuses of AMA Colleges Campuses. It is located at 25 Magsaysay Avenue, Naga City, Camarines Sur.
The Campus is located at very convenient location and it is accessible to popular malls in Naga City such as SM City.
AMA Naga Campus offers the following courses: BS Information Technology, BS Computer Science, BS Electronics Engineering, BS Computer Engineering, BS Business Administration (major in Management Information System) and BS Education (major in Computer Education). They are also offering 2 year associate programs that can be continue to Bachelor's degree with full credit at any AMA Campuses Nationwide.

Our visit at AMA Naga Campus gives us smile and good impression, the Admission Assistant Crystal B. Abarientos is very much approaching. I just don't know if the person sitted at the Admission Office is the School Director Henry Villamor. We visited AMA Naga Campus last May 28, 2010 around 4.45 PM, that is almost 5 PM. We just inquire about the courses offered and why we choose AMA. When pursuing an IT career, go for AMA Naga Campus.
Treat Yourself – How To Enjoy Your Field Trip? – AMA Students
Field Trip - some people call it as excursion, it is a journey from far away place. The purpose usually is for education, observation and research. Others may find it as a resting time for them to relax. Before i will tell you our journey, let me give you some tips first how to enjoy your trip.What ever is your purpose, the best thing to do is to enjoy your field trip. You need to have a checklist of the things to bring. Most important thing to bring is your cloths, make a little inventory or count how many times you are changing your cloths. Of course you need to bring your best cloths for best confidence. Next one is you need to bring an extra pocket money, Field Trip is not time to save much of money but its a time to relax and give yourself a treat. Another tip is, you cannot enjoy the trip if you leave some work loads from your place. If you have scheduled trip for the next week, prepare to advance working for your next week's loads, this will give you a convenience while you are on your trip.
You may read our story how we enjoyed our trip. It is a trip organized by the AMA Education System where COMPO4 students enrolled in Current Trends in Information Technology are allowed to join. We arrived from AMA Dagupan Campus at exactly 3 AM in the morning.
Teachers in AMA Campuses
AMA Teachers are combination of young professionals and experienced professionals. Faculty members are trained to give care specially on the learning of students.
Teachers in AMA are not just a teachers, they mentors, advisers and also a friend of students not just in learning lessons but also in application in the workplace.
They are not hard to deal, they can be easily approach by the students, that is just a one of many uniqueness of AMA Teachers.
I try studying in other Universities, teachers are older and they may not apply the new trends and technique in teaching. When i was still a student of AMA, my teachers care about my concern. They listen to everything what i say. Teachers who are qualified in AMA are not just ordinary, for the starting entrance in AMA, the teacher must gain 18 Units of Master Units and 1 year teaching experience, and a requirement of Master's Degree is needed for stay.

AMA Student’s Forum
AMA Student's Forum was initially open last February 21, 2010. AMA Student's Forum is Unofficial Forum for students from different AMAES School. It is moderated by students who aim to provide information to fellow students.
It was registered under a top level domain (TLD) dot info, adopted the domain name amauniversity.edu.ph which is currently registered as educational institution. The website for AMA Student's Forum is http://www.amauniversity.info.
It is open for students of AMA Computer University, AMA Computer College, AMA International University, ABE International Business College, AMA Computer Learning Center, AMA International Institute of Technology, St. Augustine International School, St. Augustine School of Nursing, Norwegian Maritime Academy.
How to Promote Your Website?
Website Promotion is one of the most hardest part to do. You give a time and effort to promote a website. Promoting a web content is the same as Marketing a Product. Where you let the people know about your product or your name.
Here are some of the tips that might help you to promote and gain more visitors to your website.
- First, your website must have a ORIGINAL and QUALITY content which search engines and readers will enjoy looking for it.
- Build links to other website, Link Building will help a lot for better ranking. Be friends with a lot of site owners to link you.
- Your website must be visible to Search Engines such as Google.
- Join Forums and Social Networking site such as Facebook.com and leave link to your site, even Digg.com can do that.
- Always use an International Language site which is English, for a Search Engine to read more tags and keywords from your site.
- Always update the content of your website. This is a reason why people will be going back to your site. If your website content doesn't changed at all, there is no reason to visit your website again.
- Never copy content from other website such as the Copy-Paste thing, this will lead you into blocked websites in the Search Engines.
- Include a good META tags for your website.
- Request visitors to bookmark you, much better if they are subscribe to an RSS.
- Lastly, learn and study hard how to gain more traffic on your website.
ICT Competition Results
The 3 day ICT Council's Competition was held last February 3 to 5, 2010. The first day was held at Lyceum Northwestern University. After the Opening Program with the Guest Speaker's Speech, Programming, Poster Making using Multimedia editing software and Programming became the main competition of the first day. The second day was non-academic competition such as DOTA Wars. The third day was the presentation of Audio Visual Presentation, Poster Making Presentation and Networking Competition, and finally the announcement of winners from different competition.
AMA Dagupan Campus gained 2 Championship, and 3 First Runner Up. University of Luzon gained 2 Championship and 2 First Runner Up. Lyceum Northwestern University gained 3 2nd Runner Up. Below is the breakdown of all Winners from different category where 3 points for Champion, 2 points for 1st Runner Up and 1 point for 2nd Runner Up. With the over-all total AMA Dagupan Campus became the first among all.

AMA Dagupan Campus Celebrates its Foundation Day with Sportsfest 2009. As stated from the previous Blog Post, four giant team compete aiming for the Overall Champion. The Computation of the Overall Champion was based on the types of Games and Events. Here are the different teams competed last Sportsfest 2009.
Red Sentinel 1 - Consist of BSIT First year with 2 Block Section, popular campus names of team members are Chery Ann Crespo and Starsky To. There are different mix of team members for Red Sentinel from different courses.
Red Sentinel 2 - Consist of BSIT Third year with a single block together with Engineering Students, popular campus names of team members are Andro Bonnin Gray and Oliver Zabala. There are different mix of team members for Red Sentinel from different courses.
Blue Titans - Formerly known as the Dark Elf, consist of BSIT Second Year with Nursing Students, popular campus names of team members are Angelica Casem and Jupiter Uson. There are different mix of team members for Blue Titans from different courses.
Green Scourge - The last team was consist of Computer System Design and Programming student with a single block with a little population and independent members of purely CSDP.

Foundation Day School Celebration
Foundation Day is celebrated by most of the Colleges and Universities to commemorate the day of the school was founded. Activities includes such as Sports, Pageants and other events that is related to tradition of the School. Students are the primary participants of the activities.
AMA Dagupan Campus Celebrates its 9th foundation Day this December 8, 9 and 14. Foundation Day starts at December 8 with a Motorcade going downtown to Sta. Barbara Gym. The opening and declaration of Sportsfest was started at 9 AM by the School Director Jeannie J. Bruan. Presentation of Teams was done by the Finance Officer Karen Ann P. Mejia announcing the entrance of Red Sentinel 1 and 2, Blue Titans and Green Scourge.
The first event was the Cheering Competition by the Blue Titans, Red Sentinel. And Red Sentinel was obviously got the Champion for Cheering Competition. Next events was various contest and Red Sentinel was leading on the first half day, but it is just the beginning. Afternoon event was Basketball elimination by the Red Sentinel 1 versus Green Scourge, Green Scourge won the first game. Next game was Red Sentinel 2 versus Blue Titans, Red Sentinel 2 won the second game. The championship was scheduled on the second day, and Green Scourge was declared the champion.
The Announcement of the Overall Champion will be announced on December 14 on the last day and still nobody knows what team. Expectedly basketball was the highest points for the Green Scourge but unfortunately they don't have entry for the Cheering Competition that might put them down. Stay tuned for more updates.
