A Poem From The Past
Since DayCody was posting his inner thoughts and feelings, and all I'm posting were news, tips and tweaks, I though that It was time that I give a twist to my blog posts. So, here I was bored with reviewing and something suddenly struck me, why not post a poem? I wrote this poem several years ago, and would just like to share it to you guys.
Just a simple twist to what I usually post. So here goes.
When night falls I lay quiet
To try and remember the words
to that song…
That song you dedicated,
That song you sang,
The words so soothing
It made me dream of yesterday.
That song I hear on the radio
It makes me believe you’re here.
That song we sang together,
It blew away my fears,
As you brushed away my tears.
That song we danced to
All through the star bright night.
With that song we made love
endlessly,
As we flew away and talked to
the moon
That song is my lullaby,
My comfort, my way of
remembering you.
That song brings a smile to my
face
Even though you are now gone,
That song is still our song.
