Filipinos are living around the globe, and Filipino or known Pinoys in local language believe in the power of Media in the Philippines. There are 2 major television Philippine-based multi-media conglomerate, the ABS-CBN and GMA 7.
ABS-CBN began its broadcasting to digital television format started last January 2008. while GMA announced that the Network will transfer to digital television by 2012.
Since this blog is not about the ratings, it is more on Information Technology. It only compares the technology of both TV stations. Philippines DTC and NTC ordered all TV in the Philippines must shut off their analog signal by 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2015.
The comparison of Picture of ABS and GMA, ABS provide full color television with Digital output, while GMA is still providing analog signal to its viewers which GMA adjusted its color into more contrast, brightness and saturation to avoid pixelated output. Means GMA can't posibly make a fast motion darked picture that will provide pixelated pictures but ABS-CBN can do it. On the other side, ABS-CBN 2 is at the lower frequency which is susceptible to other Radio Ferequency since it is operating in Very Low Frequency that affects the picture and quality, hence ABS-CBN operated in other high frequency to avoid this one.

I was a friendster user since 2004, this 2009 i switch to Facebook as my primary networking site because most of my friends in friendster is moving to facebook.
